Karma Karo-na
As we all know the deadly “Corona” virus has brought the world to its knees. This smallest one is the mightiest than the strongest one. If we read the name Corona, it sounds in Hindi “karo naa”(do it). It means this is an alarm to wake you up to do something. Now the question is what to do? The answer is Karma (Action/Deed), if you do right karma, you will get right result and if you do wrong karma, you will get wrong result. Now another question, how to decide right or wrong karma? The answer is that all religions have divided the karma into two parts “moral (Right deeds) and immoral (Wrong deeds)”. It means if you do moral deeds, you will get right result and if you do immoral deeds, you will get wrong result. (Note- how to decide moral and immoral is a long chapter that we may discuss next time, so let’s focus on the current)
This Corona virus is the wrong result of immoral deeds. But now the question is why whole world is suffering from this wrong deed done by an individual/society/state/country? The answer is The Supreme Judgment Authority (God) has got an excuse to punish those who have done wrong deeds ever. But again a question hunts into mind, why the people who has been doing right deeds are suffering from this virus threat? The answer is The God may be warning to make them aware to keep on doing right deeds. Because the life threat is the only one thing that almost all creatures take seriously. This threat might be His warning to make realize that our money and Power is nothing against Him/Nature. We humans think we are most powerful and genius creature in the universe and we can be immortal/God/Nature.
Now if we explore some spiritual meaning, we can consider this virus as a source of internal awakening to realize what we are doing with nature. Again the right and wrong deeds come; if we are littering/producing pollution/misbalancing the nature, it means we are doing wrong deeds. And if we are doing wrong, then we are accountable for the wrong result. So the only one solution we can accomplish is to take responsibility as an individual/family/country to do right Karma. To know the importance of karma lets dip into the ocean of Hinduism. According to Hinduism, there are four Yugas (Era) 1. Sat Yuga, 2. Treta Yuga, 3. Dwapar Yuga and 4. Kali yuga. These yugas have not changed automatically like our human calendar. These Yugas have changed only because of human’s Karma. As the karma takes the wrong path, the morality and purity start changing with Yugas (eras) automatically. We can know it with a simple example as in Sat Yuga the morality and purity stood on all four legs and due to gradual decline, in Treta Yuga it stood on three legs, in Dwapar it stood on two legs and now in kali yuga it stands on only one leg. And what I think the single leg of the morality and purity has been broken and we have already entered in Bhrashta yuga (Corrupt era). In Bhrashta Yuga almost everyone has dropped morality and purity and is corrupt whether emotionally, economically, morally, socially, mentally, intellectually or other ways.
This lethal virus is causing deaths of infected and starving people, my condolences with them and their family. But if we take this figure of speech in consideration “A blessing in disguise” we can see the second aspect of this deadly virus “Corona”. The second aspect is the environment that was suffocating from polluted water, air and earth, but is breathing pleasantly due to lockdown. The humans are staying at home and other creatures (including chicken, fish, bats, insects and all) are feeling their birth on earth is no more a curse; they also belong to this universe. People are locked with the closest one and spending time with them. The body and mind is rejuvenating through rest. Although economy is getting down but the crime too. There are so many good and bad experiences we are suffering but one thing we need to focus is our Karma. We will have to do right karma to get rid of such life threats in future. Because only our deeds are responsible for the constantly changing of yugas and this is in our hand to change the Eras and support the morality and purity to stand with four legs…
Nice thought..... I also belive in karma.... Keep it up...
Nice , very well said Ravi Saddest part in we learn things after it gets worst And thereafter we Just hope For best without doing Good
Very nicely analyzed and very well written. You have mentioned about 4 yugas... Well described. Bhrasht yuga can be a part of kaliyuga. As of now we are in Kaliyuga, Ravi do describe it part wise in next text. All the best.
Lage Rakho Jai Ho
My blessing with you...
Nicely elaborated the concept of Karma
Awesome.
Your write up is dealing with a very important issue of karma and morality in different yugas. Purity of karma in life is very important and requirement of society. Life vanish if we will not understand what you have written. Nice write up.
